We believe early, progressively challenging musical experiences can shape the auditory system’s structure and function in lasting ways, helping children listen with greater precision. Auditory development and lasting change are the idea we are building and investigating; broader cognitive and academic benefits are additional questions.
Research on infant auditory processing, childhood musical training and later-life neural differences gives that belief a foundation. BBB connects those findings in a hypothesis about developmental opportunity, then asks how to turn it into useful experiences for families. Explore the evidence behind our approach.

From belief to everyday experience.
We’re developing Bell, a ceiling projector and sound system for shared musical experiences, starting with pregnancy through twelve months. A caregiver leads the listening, movement and repetition. The experience is designed to make that time easy to share at home.
Our free research library, activity guides and browser listening games are available today. The companion app and device software are development builds. Later Bell activities are on the roadmap; release timing and compatibility remain to be confirmed.
The guides bring the ideas into familiar songs, clapping, movement and vocal exchanges. As children become ready, the learning paths introduce more deliberate listening and musical challenges. Find activities to explore together.

We plan to partner with academic institutions and researchers to investigate how early musical experiences shape auditory abilities and brain development, and whether those changes last. We will share specific collaborations and studies when confirmed.
Music is our starting point. Our mission will keep us exploring other ways to support early development as the evidence grows. Findings that challenge our assumptions will help shape what we build next.
