About Brain Building Beats

More music in the moments that matter.

Brain Building Beats is a web-based collection of music games and listening guides for families. Our purpose is simple: help grown-ups turn everyday moments into musical play.

Listen. Try. Take a turn.

Our activities begin with a sound or a beat, invite a response, and make room to try again. Children can copy the drum, recognize a chord, follow a numbered melody, or hum back a note. Grown-ups can join every step.

The guides extend that experience from the screen to familiar songs, clapping, movement, and vocal exchanges at home. They cover early listening from the prenatal period through age seven.

Research you can explore.

We link to published research alongside the developmental timeline and age-based guides. You can read the original studies, explore the measured findings, and use our practical activities to bring more listening into daily life.

A place to keep the practice.

A parent account brings completed activity rounds into a child’s practice history. Start activities from the dashboard to save rhythm, chord, voice, and melody results. The public games are free to explore without an account.

Pitch matching processes microphone audio on your device. Audio is never recorded, saved, or uploaded. Read our privacy policy for details about accounts and practice data.
